As you have created your first projects and want to share with your colleagues or customers, here how to proceed:
1 – From the Solution Builder list of projects, mouss over the project you want to share to open the project menu
2 – Choose “Share”
3 – Type down the mail address(es) you want to share with
4 – Choose the sharing rights :
- View Only
- View and Share
- View, Share and Edit
5 – Click on Share to finalize.

What are the sharing rights
When sharing a project, you can assign and limit the abilities of the recipient under three categories:
- View Only :
- Recipients have the ability to see the project you have created without the possibility of bringing any modifications to it.
- They have access to the following options: “Open” & “Unfollow”.
- They cannot “Duplicate”
- View and Share
- Recipients will have the ability to see the project and share it without bringing any modifications to it.
- They have access to the following options: Open – Duplicate – Unfollow – Share.
- View, Share and Edit
- Recipients will have the ability to completely collaborate on the project.
- They will have access to the following options: Open – Duplicate – Unfollow – Share – Settings.
What are the different scenarios depending recipients
- Sharing with an internal recipient of your organization who already has an account
Click on a project and select “Share” from the drop-down menu. Then, enter the recipient’s e-mail address in the corresponding field.
Finally, choose the appropriate option to assign the recipient’s abilities and click “Share”.
The user can instantly have access to the shared project inside the Solution Builder project list.
- Sharing with an internal recipient of your organization who does not have an account
Click on a project and select “Share” from the drop-down menu. Then, enter the recipient’s e-mail address in the corresponding field.
Finally, choose the appropriate option to assign the recipient’s abilities and click “Share”.
Because the recipient does not have a HakoBio account, you will have to fill in a form with their information. An administrator will review the information and accept the request to join the team.
Then, the user will receive an invitation email for creating a HakoBio account. After filling the account creation form the user can instantly have access to the shared project inside the Solution Builder Projects list.
- Sharing with an external recipient of your organization who already has an account
Click on a project and select “Share” from the drop-down menu. Then, enter the recipient’s e-mail address in the corresponding field.
You’ll find the name of the recipients if they have already an account.
Finally, choose the appropriate option to assign the recipient’s abilities and click “Share”.
The user can instantly have access to the shared project inside the Solution Builder project list.
- Sharing with an external recipient of your organization who does not have a HakoBio account
Click on a project and select “Share” from the drop-down menu. Then, enter the recipient’s e-mail address in the corresponding field.
Finally, choose the appropriate option to assign the recipient’s abilities and click “Share”.
As the recipient does not have a HakoBio account, you will have to fill in a form with their information. An administrator will review the information and accept the request to join the team.
Then, the guest will receive an invitation email for creating a HakoBio account. After filling the account creation form the guest can instantly have access to the shared project inside the Solution Builder Projects list.
