Tips and tricks for an optimized HakoBio experience

Use specific browsers 

For an optimized experience, it is preferred to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Bookmark HakoBio as a favorite

In the search bar of your browser, click on the star on the right. It will add HakoBio to your favorites. The HakoBio shortcut will then appear in the favorites bar of your browser.

Keep the refresh button in mind 

Sometimes you may not be using the latest version of HakoBio, or the page might be loading slowly. That’s why we have the “Refresh” button.
If you encounter any difficulties, please save your project. Then use the refresh page option :

On  Windows

Press the “F5 key”

On  Mac OS 

 Use the combination “command – R” on your keyboard. 

Other 

Simply click on the “Refresh Button” of your browser. 

Emptying your browser’s cache
Sometime’s the “Refresh” button just doesn’t cut it. Clearing the cache is guaranteed to work. If you already refreshed your page and you are still confronting difficulties, just empty your browser’s cache

On Chrome  

  1. In the browser bar, enter:  chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. At the top of the “Clear browsing data” window, click Advanced.
  3. Select “Cached images and files”
  4. From the “Time range” drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select “All time”.
  5. Click “CLEAR DATA”.
  6. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

On Firefox 

  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
  2. If the menu bar is hidden, press “Alt” to make it visible.
  3. From the “Time range” drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select “Everything”.
  4. Next to “Details”, click the down arrow to choose “Cache”.
  5. Click Clear Now.
  6. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
