Editing Walls and Rooms

You can easily adjust room dimensions, move or rotate rooms, add construction points, and rebuild or delete walls to design your facility layout precisely as needed.

Adjust Room Size and Shape

You can customize any existing room to match your required layout by modifying its walls or anchor points.

To modify a room, double-click on it to select it. Once selected, you can:

  • Adjust the shape: Click on an anchor point and hold the left mouse button to reshape the room as desired.
  • Move a wall: Click on a wall and hold the left mouse button to expand or reduce the room’s size.

Anchor Points

You can anchor a wall’s construction point onto another wall or anchor point to connect them precisely.

To anchor or merge points:

  1. Move the point slightly to validate the anchoring or fusion between the two components.
  2. Bring one anchor point close to another anchor point or wall.

Change a Room’s Position

You can move or rotate a room to align it within your project layout.

To change position or orientation:

  1. Double-click on the room to open the editing panel.
  2. Use one of the following options:
    • Rotate (Rotates the room 90 degrees clockwise)
    • Flip horizontally
    • Flip vertically

You can also drag and move the room directly after selecting it to reposition it manually.

In addition, you can also move a room by double-clicking on it and dragging it with your mouse to a new position within the project layout.

Deleting a room

To remove a room:

  1. Double-click on the room to select it.
  2. Use the Trash icon in the left menu, or press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Add a Construction Point

There are two ways to create a new construction point:

Method 1 — Using the wall menu:

  1. Click once on a wall.
  2. A small panel will appear with two options: Add a point and Delete wall.
  3. Choose Add a point to insert a new construction point in the center of the selected wall.

Method 2 — Direct placement:

  1. Double-click directly on the wall at the location where you want to create a new construction point.
  2. The new point will appear immediately, without opening the small panel.

Once created, you can click and drag the new construction point to extend, narrow, or reshape the room as desired.

These options are particularly useful when working with irregularly shaped rooms or corridors. You can add or delete construction points and walls to refine the layout and adjust the shape of your rooms with precision.

Delete a Construction Point

To delete a construction point, you have two options:

Merge points: Drag a construction point onto another within the same room. The two will automatically merge into a single point.

Delete directly: Double-click on a construction point to remove it.

Delete a Wall

To delete a wall and create two separate spaces, follow these steps:

  1. Click once on the wall you want to delete.
  2. From the small panel, choose Delete wall.
    • Alternatively, press the Delete key on your keyboard to achieve the same result.

Rebuild a Wall

If you’ve removed a wall or need to recreate one:

  1. Click once on the open space where the wall should be rebuilt.
  2. A small panel will appear with two options: Add a point and Rebuild.
  3. Choose Rebuild to restore the wall.
