How to Use the Doc Center

Access a central hub to manage your documents, media, and references directly inside HakoBio.

The Doc Center allows you to organize, preview, and attach relevant content to your projects and training modules. Whether you need internal documentation, equipment photos, training videos, or project references, everything is accessible in one place – making collaboration faster and more structured.

What Can You Do with the Doc Center?

The Doc Center enables you to:

  • View and download content from your organization’s library.
  • Create a personal content library (“My Docs”) for project-specific files and documentation.
  • Add content directly to your projects in the Solution Builder from your computer or any Doc Center library.

 The maximum file size for any upload is 100 MB.

Accessing Your Organization’s Library

  1. Open the Doc Center menu.
  2. Browse the folders and files uploaded and organized by your administrator.
  3. Select any file to preview it. These files can be used in your projects within the Solution Builder.

Adding Content to Your Personal Library (My Docs)

  1. Go to Doc Center → My Docs.
  2. Create folders using New folder, name them, and click Create.
  3. Add files through the Upload file button.
  4. Select the document type, fill out the required fields, and click Save doc.

 Your files remain private unless added to a shared project.

Deleting Content from My Docs

  1. Hover over the file you want to remove.
  2. Click EditDelete.

Adding Content to a Project in the Solution Builder

You can attach files to a room or equipment:

  1. Select the room or equipment in your project.
  2. Open the information panel.
  3. Click the Media icon.
  4. Select Attach Media.

You can then add content through two possible means:

A. Upload a New Document

  1. Click Upload new doc
  2. Choose the document type, complete the fields, and click Save doc
  3. The document appears in your project and is added to My Docs

B. Use Existing Content in My Docs

  1. Browse files in My Docs or your organization’s library
  2. Select the content and save

Deleting Content from a Project in the Solution Builder

Click the trash icon next to the content title to remove it.
