Tips and Tricks for Browser Use

For the best experience on HakoBio, we recommend using Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome

To quickly access your HakoBio organization, we suggest bookmarking it in your browser favorites

How to bookmark your HakoBio page:
While on the platform, click the star icon located at the top right of your browser (to the right of the URL bar). This will save your HakoBio organization as a favorite for easy access later on.

Keep Your Browser Up to Date

To ensure HakoBio runs smoothly and loads efficiently, make sure you’re using the latest version of your browser. Outdated browsers can sometimes cause slower performance or display issues.

How to Check for Updates

Google Chrome logoGoogle Chrome

Go to Settings → About Chrome. Chrome will check for updates and prompt you to relaunch if needed.

Mozilla Firefox logoMozilla Firefox

Go to Settings → General → Firefox Updates, then click Check for updates.

Microsoft Edge logoMicrosoft Edge

Go to Settings → About Microsoft Edge. The browser will automatically check for updates.

Clear Your Browser Cache

If you’re already using the latest version of your browser but still experience difficulties with HakoBio, try clearing your browser’s cache. This helps remove temporary files that may interfere with page loading.

How to Clear Your Browser Cache

Google Chrome logoGoogle Chrome  
  1. In the browser URL bar, enter:  chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. At the top of the Clear browsing data window, click Advanced.
  3. Select Cached images and files
  4. From the Time range drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select All time.
  5. Click CLEAR DATA.
  6. Close all browser tabs and windows and then re-open a web page, to validate the manipulation.
Mozilla Firefox 
  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
  2. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
  3. From the Time range drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information. To clear your entire cache, select Everything.
  4. Next to Details, click the down arrow to choose Cache.
  5. Click Clear Now.
  6. Close all browser tabs and windows and then re-open a web page, to validate the manipulation.
Microsoft Edge
  1. Select Settings, etc. > Settings > Privacy, search, and services.

  2. Under Clear Browsing Data > Clear Browsing Data Now, select Choose items to clear.

  3. Under Time range, choose all period from the list. Then choose only : Cached images and files.

  4. Select Clear Now
