Once your headset is ready and the HakoBio VR app is installed, you can adjust your VR settings to personalize your experience. This guide walks you through how to manage your settings inside the app.
What You Can Configure in VR Settings
The Settings menu in the HakoBio VR app includes:
- Language
- User Options (Guided, Custom, Expert)
- Multi-Viewer Mode
- Offline Mode

Language Settings
English is the default language of the HakoBio VR app. You can switch to:
- French
- Spanish
- German

How to Change Language
You can change the language from two locations:
1. Before Logging In
From the Sign-In screen, open the settings menu and select your preferred language.

2. After Logging In
Open the VR menu (via the virtual watch or controller button), go to Settings, and choose your language.

User Options
This feature allows you to choose the level of guidance provided during training modules:
Guided Mode (Default)
This is recommended for most users. It includes:
- Compass: Shows where to look, plus distance to the next interactable element.
- Heads-Up Display (HUD): Displays instructions, warnings, and notifications when media (photos/videos) is available.
- Voice: Reads out HUD content to help you stay focused. Adjust headset volume or use headphones for privacy.
- Highlight: All interactable elements are visually highlighted during training.

Custom Mode
Hides all guiding elements, allowing you to explore freely without prompts.

Expert Mode
For experienced users familiar with the training. Only the HUD remains visible to maintain workflow awareness.

Multi-Viewer Mode
Multi-Viewer Mode allows one active user to invite one or several viewers to join a training session.
- All other participants join as viewers
- The person initiating the session is the active user
- A Wi-Fi connection is necessary for this mode to work
Activate Multi-Viewer Mode
- Open Settings
- Choose a server
- All attendees must select the same server to meet in a shared session
- Avoid leaving Automatic Region Choice active, as it may place users on different servers
- Once a server is selected, toggle Enable to activate Multi-Viewer Mode
All attendees must perform the same steps to join the session together.

Offline Mode
You can enable Offline Mode in two ways, depending on whether you’re signing in or already inside the VR app.
Activate Offline Mode When Signing In
Before entering your credentials, toggle Offline Mode ON on the login screen.
Then enter your email and password as usual. Once signed in, the app will automatically operate in offline mode.
Activate Offline Mode When Already Logged In
If you are already inside the app, open the Settings menu and toggle Offline Mode ON. The switch will take effect immediately.
