In HakoBio, you can easily add and position utilities like doors, windows, or pillars, as well as equipment from the Product Portfolio to bring your digital twin to life.
Add Utilities
Every facility requires essential elements such as doors, windows, ventilation, and pillars. To add these items:
- From the Building menu, click on the Utilities tab.
- Select the desired item.
- Drag and drop it into the desired location in your layout.
Once added, you can adjust the size and position of the utilities from the information panel as needed.
Add Equipment
To place equipment inside your project:
- From the Building menu, click on the Equipment tab.
- Search for the desired equipment:
- Scroll through the product portfolio;
- Type its name in the search bar (bottom left); or
- Filter using tags associated with the specific technology (you can select multiple tags)
- Once you’ve found the item, drag and drop it into your project.
To move an item, double-click on it. To rotate, use the lever below the equipment and turn it to the desired orientation.
Delete Utilities and Equipment
To delete an object:
- Double-click to select it.
- Press the Delete key on your keyboard, or click the Trash icon in the object overview on the information menu.
If you need to represent a piece of equipment or a volume that isn’t available in the Product Portfolio, you can add a placeholder object. These generic, resizable items allow you to visualize custom elements while maintaining accurate scale within your layout.
To add a placeholder object:
From the Building menu, click on the Equipment tab.
In the search bar (bottom left), type “resizable.”
Double-click on the item to add it to your project.
Open the info panel on the left.
Adjust its length, width, and height to match your specifications.
