Run Your HakoBio VR App on Meta Quest Headsets

Before logging into your HakoBio account, review the information below to learn how to launch and navigate the VR app effectively on your Meta Quest headset.

The HakoBio VR app is compatible with the full line of Meta Quest headsets, including Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 2.

Interacting with Controllers in VR

Controller designs vary slightly across Meta Quest models, but the interaction principles remain the same.

Movement

Left joystick: Move forward, backward, left, or right within the virtual environment.
Right joystick: Rotate your view to turn around.
- Tilting the joystick left or right performs a 90° snap-turn.

Opening Menus

HakoBio menu: Press the assigned menu button on the left controller.

Meta quick settings: Press the assigned system button on the right controller.

Point and Select

Press the trigger button on the back of the joystick with the index finger to select it.

Use the joystick to point at an item. Initially, it will have a blue outline; when you aim directly at it, the outline turns green.

Run HakoBio application

To start the HakoBio VR experience, locate the application in your headset’s library.

Open the App Library on your Meta Quest headset.
Scroll down and select “Unknown Sources”.
- This section contains applications installed via sideloading, including HakoBio VR.
Locate “HakoBio VR” in the list.
Select the app to launch it.

Once the application starts, follow the on-screen instructions to access the virtual lobby and log in to your account.
